Uni Buddy is a platform operated by Lucky Sharms LLC that connects prospective university students with current students and recent graduates for mentoring, advice, and information sharing through SMS messaging. The Service facilitates communication between users but does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of information shared.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Uni Buddy, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself
  • Respect other users and maintain professional communication
  • Not share personal contact information or arrange meetings outside the platform
  • Not use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam
  • Not impersonate another person or create false identities
  • Report any inappropriate behavior or content

4. User Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for the content you share on Uni Buddy. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially or ethnically objectionable.

5. Privacy and Safety

  • Do not share personal information like phone numbers, addresses, or social media handles
  • Report any users who ask for personal information or suggest meeting offline
  • All conversations are logged for safety and quality purposes
  • High school students consent to receive educational guidance by texting our published number

6. Mentor Guidelines

If you're serving as a mentor (current student or graduate), you agree to:

  • Provide honest and helpful advice based on your experience
  • Maintain confidentiality of conversations
  • Be respectful and professional in all interactions
  • Not provide guarantees about admissions or outcomes
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest
  • Complete Lucky Sharms LLC's student verification process

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Uni Buddy to:

  • Solicit admissions consulting services or charge for advice
  • Promote other platforms or services
  • Collect user information for external purposes
  • Engage in romantic or inappropriate relationships
  • Share copyrighted material without permission
  • Attempt to hack or compromise the platform's security

8. Account Termination

Lucky Sharms LLC reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms, inappropriate behavior, or at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

9. Disclaimers

Please note that:

  • Information shared by mentors is based on personal experience and may not apply to everyone
  • Uni Buddy does not guarantee admission to any university
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of advice given by mentors
  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

10. Limitation of Liability

Lucky Sharms LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Lucky Sharms LLC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
